They got the idea from Texas street vendors selling Paletas (popsicles)

Started business by selling popsicles out of the back of their trunks going house to house.

Entire Hernandez family took part in business

TO START SELLING THE AUTHENTIC MEXICAN STREET FOOD

Opened first location on Amidon and remained there for 2 years then Moved to current location and have been there for 18 years.

They worked their way up and bought a machine which could produce 500 popsicles at one time.  

  • Paleteria La Reyna serves up the finest Mexican cuisine around.
  • The fruit flavors is hand-picked
  • The ice cream is 14 percent milk fat instead of the usual 5. Translation: It’s extra creamy !
